Knight has not played since March 3rd due to an illness and will miss at least one more game. The Blackhawks have alternated between Arvid Soderblom and Drew Commesso during Knight's absence.

With Spencer Knight (illness) still sidelined, the Blackhawks will turn to Commesso on Monday against the Utah Mammoth. The 23-year-old Commesso has been solid in a limited sample this season, posting a 2.50 GAA and .917 SV% in two outings (1-1-0). That said, Commesso has spent most of the season in the AHL, where he has a less impressive 3.07 GAA and .899 SV% in 28 games with the Rockford IceHogs. The Blackhawks enter Monday's contest as +186 home underdogs against a Mammoth team whose only loss in their last five games was against the Blackhawks, 4-0 on March 1st.

The Rangers seem to have a firm hold on last place in the Eastern Conference (24-30-8), which does not reflect the netminding they have received from Igor Shesterkin (19-12-6). The 30-year-old Shesterkin has given his team a chance on most nights and has continued that consistency since returning from the Olympic break, posting a 2.91 GAA and .899 SV% in four games (2-0-2). The Rangers enter Monday's contest as +125 road underdogs against a Philadelphia Flyers team that is 4-1-0 in its last five games.

Sanderson was limited to 12:52 time-on-ice in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Seattle Kraken, exiting with an undisclosed injury, and will undergo further testing. The 23-year-old Sanderson has been held off the scoresheet in three straight games, but has 48 points (11G / 37A) in 62 games this season. If Sanderson misses any time, expect Thomas Chabot to take his spot on the team's top powerplay unit.

Urho Vaakanainen will draw back into the Rangers' lineup on Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers, sending Iorio to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Iorio is averaging 15:51 time-on-ice and has three assists in 26 games this season.

Matvei Gridin will draw back into the Flames' lineup on Monday against the Washington Capitals, sending Pospisil to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Slovak, Pospisil, is averaging 10:34 time-on-ice, recording 34 hits and two points (1G / 1A) in 11 games this season.

One of the downfalls of playing for the Calgary Flames, the NHL's lowest-scoring team (2.50 GF / GP), is that Devin Cooley's modest 7-7-4 record does not do justice to how impressive he has been between the pipes this season. The 28-year-old Cooley is coming off another excellent outing, albeit another loss, 4-1 to the Ottawa Senators, but he saved 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) in the process. Amazingly, Cooley leads all goalies this season in save percentage (.923 SV%) and quality starts (.833). Still, the Flames enter Monday's contest as +175 road underdogs against a Washington Capitals team on a three-game losing streak (0-3-0).

Gridin returns from playing one game in the AHL with the Wranglers, and will draw back into the Flames' lineup on Monday against the Washington Capitals. The 20-year-old Gridin is averaging 14:18 time-on-ice and has seven points (3G / 4A) in 18 games with the Flames this season. Martin Pospisil will exit the lineup as a healthy scratch.

Vincent Iorio will be a healthy scratch on Monday, allowing Vaakanainen to re-enter the lineup against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 27-year-old Vaakanainen has not played since February 5th. He is averaging 13:53 time-on-ice and has four assists in 27 games this season.

Brodzinski did not play in New York's previous game, but he will return to the lineup on Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 32-year-old forward has two points (0G / 2A) in his last three games, giving him 11 points (4G / 7A) through 40 games this season.

Gilbert is no stranger to the NHL, with 20 points (3G / 17A) in 112 career games, but has spent most of the 2025-26 season in the AHL. The 29-year-old defenseman has 12 points (0G / 12A) in 31 games with Belleville (AHL) this season.

St. Ivany has not played since undergoing surgery on his left hand in late January, but is nearing a return and will suit up with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on a conditioning stint. The 26-year-old defenseman was averaging 15:39 time-on-ice and had seven assists in 17 games before his injury.

Brunet was a fifth-round pick of the Bruins in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman made his NHL debut last season, playing one game with Boston, but has otherwise spent all of his time in the AHL. He has 28 points (11G / 17A) in 55 games with Providence (AHL) this season.

Vladar is coming off his weakest performance in recent weeks, allowing three goals on 23 shots (.870 SV%), but still salvaged a 4-3 shootout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 28-year-old Czech goalie has continued to be a steadying presence between the pipes for the Flyers since returning from the Olympic break, posting an excellent 1.96 GAA and .924 SV% in five outings (3-2-0). The Flyers enter Monday's contest as -138 home favourites against a New York Rangers team they defeated 3-2 in overtime less than two weeks ago.

Thompson was solid in his most recent outing, saving 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%), but did not receive enough goal support, losing 3-1 to the Boston Bruins. The 29-year-old Thompson has been terrific since returning from the Olympic break, but only has a 2-2-0 record to show for it, despite posting an impressive 2.04 GAA and .922 SV% in four games. The Capitals enter Monday's contest as -196 home favourites against a Calgary Flames team that has lost five straight games (0-4-1).
