Miller (upper-body) appears ready to return in Minnesota on Saturday.

Miller has not played since suffering an upper-body injury on March 2nd, but has resumed practicing this week and could be an option on Saturday against the Minnesota Wild. The Rangers have gone 4-1-0 without Miller, who was picking up production before his injury, scoring 14 points (3G / 11A) in his last 13 games.

Shesterkin will start in Winnipeg on Thursday.

The Rangers seem to have a firm hold on last place in the Eastern Conference (26-30-8), despite the solid netminding they have received from Igor Shesterkin (20-12-6). The 30-year-old Shesterkin has given his team a chance on most nights and has continued that consistency since returning from the Olympic break, posting a 2.73 GAA and .908 SV% in five games (3-0-2). The Rangers enter Thursday's contest as +133 road underdogs against a Winnipeg Jets team coming off a 4-1 loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Quick will start vs. Calgary on Tuesday.

The Rangers are well above .500 when Igor Shesterkin starts (20-12-6) and would likely be in playoff contention if not for a prolonged injury, but, on the tail end of a back-to-back, they will turn to Jonathan Quick. The 40-year-old veteran Quick is sporting a miserable 4-15-2 record. He allowed five goals on 34 shots (.853 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 6-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils, and has lost 16 of his last 17 appearances (1-14-2) while posting an ugly 3.69 GAA and .874 SV%. Still, the Rangers enter Tuesday's contest as -131 home favourites against a Calgary Flames team that was defeated 7-3 by the Washington Capitals last night.

Shesterkin will start in Philadelphia on Monday.

The Rangers seem to have a firm hold on last place in the Eastern Conference (24-30-8), which does not reflect the netminding they have received from Igor Shesterkin (19-12-6). The 30-year-old Shesterkin has given his team a chance on most nights and has continued that consistency since returning from the Olympic break, posting a 2.91 GAA and .899 SV% in four games (2-0-2). The Rangers enter Monday's contest as +125 road underdogs against a Philadelphia Flyers team that is 4-1-0 in its last five games.
