Perreault (illness) is expected to return in Washington on Tuesday.

Perreault did not play in New York's most recent game due to an illness, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. The 20-year-old Perreault has played only five games this season with the Rangers but has been productive, scoring three points (1G/2A) as he tries to acclimate to the NHL.

Miller (upper-body) did not travel to Nashville for Sunday's game.

Miller suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday's game vs. the Flyers and will not be available for Sunday's game in Nashville. Miller remained in New York to be evaluated, so look for Taylor Raddysh or Jonny Brodzinski to return to the lineup on Sunday.

Perreault will draw into the Rangers lineup on Thursday.

Perreault will slot into the lineup in place of Artemi Panarin, who is out with an illness. Panarin (illness) will not play in St. Louis on Thursday.

The Rangers will be without Panarin for Thursday's game due to an illness. After an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, with seven points (2G / 5A) in his first 14 games, Panarin has returned to his elite point-producing form in recent weeks, with 27 points (9G / 18A) in his last 21 games.

Shesterkin will start in St. Louis on Thursday.

The Rangers are amazingly coming off being shutout for the seventh time in 17 home games (4-10-3), but return to the road, where they have thrived this season (12-5-1). Shesterkin has allowed three or more goals in four straight games (1-2-1), posting a 3.30 GAA and .881 SV%, and hopes to return to the elite form that justified him becoming the highest-paid goalie in NHL history. The 29-year-old Shesterkin has a 2.55 GAA and .908 SV% in 27 games this season (13-11-3). The Rangers enter Thursday's contest as -131 road favorites against a Blue team that played last night, defeating the Winnipeg Jets 1-0.

Panarin (illness) will be a game-time decision in St. Louis on Thursday.

After an uncharacteristically slow start to the season, with seven points (2G / 5A) in his first 14 games, Panarin has returned to his elite point-producing form in recent weeks, with 27 points (9G / 18A) in his last 21 games. Given the Rangers' struggles on home ice, Panarin has been especially productive on the road this season, including scoring 18 points (5G / 13A) in his last 10 road games. The Rangers have been running a five-forward top powerplay unit lately, but experimented with Scott Morrow on the point with Panarin absent from practice on Thursday.

Chmelar has been reassigned to Hartford (AHL).

The Rangers are shaking up their roster, sending Jaroslav Chmelar and Brett Berard to Hartford (AHL), with Brennan Othmann and Gabriel Perreault coming back the other way in corresponding moves. The 22-year-old Chmelar made his NHL debut this season and is searching for his first point through six games. He has 11 points (3G / 8A) in the AHL through 19 games with Hartford this season.
