Trocheck has not played since suffering an upper-body injury in the second game of the season, but will return to the lineup on Monday against the Nashville Predators. The 32-year-old Trocheck recorded 59 points (26G / 33A), 202 shots, and 214 hits in 82 games last season. Before his injury, he was playing on the team's top powerplay unit, but it appears that role has, at least temporarily, been taken by Will Cuylle.

With Vincent Trocheck (upper body) returning to the Rangers' lineup on Monday, Brodzinski will head to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old Brodzinski has scored two points (1G / 1A) in eight games this season.
