Weber (lower-body) is in danger of missing the rest of the 2020 regular season.
According to Nick Kypreos, Weber's season is likely over and his future is in question. The injury is reportedly related to his foot that was surgically repaired in 2018 and could require further surgery.

Weber will not play Monday vs. the Coyotes, won't travel on their brief two-game road trip (@BOS and @PIT) and is doubtful to play vs. the Stars when they return home on Saturday. So far, so good without Weber though, the Habs have gone 2-0 with two OT victories without their captain.

Brossoit will start Saturday afternoon vs. the Senators.
Brossoit allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Jets loss to the Bruins on January 31st. Brossoit has gone 1-3-0 with a 3.76 GAA and .875 SV% on home-ice this season and gets set to face an Ottawa team that has lost eight of their last nine road games (1-4-4).

Weber missed Wednesday's practice and when head coach Claude Julien met with the media this morning he announced that Weber will go on IR, meaning he misses at least one week. With Weber out, the Canadiens have recalled Xavier Ouellet from Laval (AHL).
The Devils have recalled Joey Anderson from Binghamton (AHL).
Anderson was a third-round pick in 2016 and has scored 15 goals with 19 assists (34 points) in 44 AHL games this season. He had seven points (3G / 4A) in 34 NHL games with the Devils last season.

Brossoit will start Friday vs. the Bruins.
Brossoit allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Jets loss in Columbus on January 22nd. Brossoit has not registered a win since December 10th, going 0-3-0 with a 4.73 GAA and .867 SV% in six games (three starts) since then. Tonight he faces a Bruins team that has gone 5-3-2 while scoring 3.10 goals per game in their last 10 games.
Line Change
Donato will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday.
With Mikko Koivu returning from an illness, Donato will sit as a healthy scratch vs. the Red Wings. Donato has scored one goal with one assist in his last eight games.
Goalie Start
Brossoit will start Wednesday in Columbus.
Brossoit allowed two goals on 14 shots after replacing Connor Hellebuyck in the Jets' 7-1 loss to the Lightning last Friday. Brossoit has not recorded a win since December 10th, going 0-2-0 while allowing 15 goals on 99 shots (.868 SV%) in his last five appearances (two starts). Tonight he faces a Blue Jackets team on a five-game winning streak, outscoring their opponents 16-to-3.
Toninato (illness) is expected to play Monday in Minnesota.
Toninato was a late-scratch Saturday in Detroit but is expected to play tonight in his home state. He has been playing with quality linemates (Hoffman & Vatrano) lately and comes in with three assists in his last four games.
Burakovsky (illness) will play on Tuesday.
Burakovsky missed Monday's practice with an illness but was on the ice for the morning skate and will play vs. the Stars. Burakovsky has been held without a goal for 11 straight goals, posting four assists and 19 shots (1.7 SOG/gm) over that stretch.
Line Change
Donato will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
Donato was bumped to the fourth line with Jason Zucker back on Sunday but will come out of the lineup tonight in Pittsburgh. Donato, who has been held pointless in his last five games, will be replaced by Victor Rask in Pittsburgh.
Goalie Start
Brossoit will start Thursday in Boston.
Brossoit allowed one goal on 11 shots in a relief effort in the Jets loss to Toronto last Thursday. With Connor Hellebuyck going last night in Toronto, Brossoit draws the unenviable task of starting in Boston tonight. The 26-year-old is 3-2-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .904 SV% on the road and the Bruins are 14-2-9 in Boston, so look elsewhere tonight.
Lafferty (illness) will not play on Saturday.
Lafferty will come out of the Penguins lineup on Saturday due to an illness, so Thomas Di Pauli will make his NHL debut in Montreal.
The Maple Leafs have placed Ilya Mikheyev (wrist) on IR.
Mikheyev had to undergo wrist surgery after getting cut by a skate on Friday night and will miss at least three months. He could eventually be moved to LTIR to provide the Maple Leafs with some salary relief but for now, he is on regular IR to open up a roster spot to call-up Timothy Liljegren.
Mikheyev underwent surgery to repair an artery and tendons in his wrist on Friday and will miss at least three months.
Mikheyev had his wrist cut by a skate during Friday's overtime win over the Devils and was rushed to a nearby hospital immediately. Mikheyev underwent successful surgery and will be re-evaluated in three months. This timeline would make it possible for Mikheyev to return for a potential playoff run.

The 26-year-old has gone 3-3-0 with a 3.65 GAA and .885 SV% on the season but is a solid spot-start option vs. a Red Wings team that has lost 11 in a row.
