Domenic DiVincentiis News

The Jets have struggled immensely since Connor Hellebuyck (knee) has been sidelined. Eric Comrie has had a few solid outings, but has understandably been unable to fill the void of the team's three-time Vezina-winning goalie. When Comrie has been unable to go, Thomas Milic has been unable to step up to the plate, resulting in his demotion to Manitoba (AHL), with goalie Domenic DiVincentiis coming back the other way in a corresponding move. The 21-year-old DiVicentiis is unlikely to see much playing time at the NHL level, but has been solid in the AHL this season, posting a 2.49 GAA and .915 SV% in 13 games (6-7-0).

DiVeincentiis was 36-9-2 with a .919 SV% and 2.33 GAA with Brampton (OHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a three-year, entry-level contract Wednesday with Winnipeg. The 19-year-old goaltender was Winnipeg's 2022 seventh-round pick (#207 overall) and is expected to return to Brampton for his third OHL season in 2023-24.
