Hart will start Monday vs. the Kraken.

Hart allowed four goals on 39 shots in the Flyers' shootout loss to the Canucks on Friday. The Flyers made a late third period push to send it to OT but couldn't complete the job in the shootout. Hart was busy in his season debut but should see less rubber tonight vs. a Kraken team that is averaging just 25.7 shots per game (29th) so far.

Hart will start the Flyers season opener on Friday.

Hart struggled in 2021, going 9-11-5 with a 3.67 GAA and .877 SV%. Still, Hart is just 23-years-old and the future of the Flyers' crease. In the two previous seasons, Hart combined for a .915 SV%, which is more what you should expect from him this season. His first start will come against a Canucks team that lost 3-2 in a shootout in Edmonton on Wednesday.

Dorofeyev is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Dorofeyev was a third-round pick of the Golden Knights in 2019 and is set to make his NHL debut vs. the Kraken. Vegas will likely be without Mattias Janmark, Will Carrier, Nicolas Roy and Brett Howden, which opened the door for the 20-year-old winger. Dorofeyev had nine goals and four assists (13 points) in 24 AHL games last year.

The Sabres have acquired Robert Hagg, the No.13 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and a 2023 second-round draft pick from the Flyers for Rasmus Ristolainen.

Hagg's role with the Flyers has diminished in recent years but he remains a steady blueliner that should have no problem landing a top-4 spot with the Sabres. Hagg is a big, physical defenseman with solid puck-moving abilities, who could be a potential D-partner for Rasmus Dahlin.

The Golden Knights have acquired Brett Howden from the Rangers for Nick DeSimone and a '22 4th round pick.

Howden signed a one-year, $885K contract in early July but was sent to Vegas on Saturday and will likely be replaced by Barclay Goodrow, who is a pending UFA but was acquired from the Lightning on the same day. Howden has seen his playing time and offensive numbers drop since his rookie season, finishing 2021-22 with seven points (1G / 6A) in 42 games.
