Schmid will start in Montreal on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights will turn back to Schmid between the pipes on Tuesday after starting Adin Hill in each of the team's previous two games. Schmid saw a personal four-game winning streak come to an end in his last start, when he allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Bruins on Thursday. The 25-year-old netminder brings a 15-5-5 record and an .896 SV% into Tuesday night's matchup, where the Golden Knights enter action at -120 on the money line.

Hill will start in Toronto on Friday.

The Golden Knights will continue their goalie rotation on Friday as Hill gets the nod in Toronto. Hill was tagged with just his second regulation loss of the season in his last start, allowing two goals on 17 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Flyers on Monday. The 29-year-old brings a 7-2-1 record and an .873 SV% into Friday night's matchup against the Maple Leafs, a team Hill defeated just eight days ago. The Golden Knights enter action on Friday at -120 on the money line.

Schmid will start in Boston on Thursday.

The Golden Knights relied heavily on Carter Hart when he made his debut in December, making Schmid an afterthought, but now with Hart (lower body) sidelined, the team seems keen on rotating between Schmid and the recently activated Adin Hill. The 25-year-old Schmid was excellent in his most recent game, saving 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%) in a 7-2 win over the Nashville Predators, and has a 2.05 GAA and .917 SV% during a four-game winning streak. The Golden Knights enter Thursday's contest as -140 road favorites against a Boston Bruins team whose six-game winning streak was snapped on Tuesday in a 6-2 loss to the Dallas Stars.

Andersson is not expected to make his Vegas' debut on Thursday due to immigration but has a chance on Friday.

Andersson was finally acquired by the Golden Knights on Sunday, materializing trade rumours that have circulated since the offseason. The 29-year-old Andersson was having a tremendous season with the Flames, but an eventual trade was all but certain for the impending UFA defenseman. He was pacing for career-best offensive totals before the trade, scoring 30 points (10G / 20A) in 48 games with Calgary. Andersson's work visa is still being finalized, and he will not play on Thursday, but could make his team debut on Friday.

Howden (lower-body) has been placed on IR.

Howden has been productive in primarily a bottom-six role for the Golden Knights this season, scoring 15 points (9G / 6A) in 39 games. That said, he will be sidelined for at least a week because of a lower-body injury. Jonas Rondbjerg was recalled from Henderson (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Brett Howden
Hill will start against the Flyers on Monday.

Hill endured an up-and-down return to the crease last week, ultimately coming away with the victory in a 6-5 overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. It was the 29-year-old's first game since October 20th after a lower-body injury kept him out of the lineup for nearly three months. Hill carries a 2-0-2 record and an .872 SV% into Monday night's matchup, where the Golden Knights enter action at -210 on the money line.
