Nylander (undisclosed) will not play in Game 1 in Boston.

Nylander played a full 82 games in each of the last two seasons but will miss Game 1 in Boston. There hasn't been much information on what is ailing Nylander or if it will keep him out longer. For now, consider him day-to-day and hope the Maple Leafs provide some clarity on this mysterious situation.

William Nylander
Nylander (undisclosed) missed Friday's practice and is a "possibility" for Game 1.

Nylander was not on the ice for Friday's practice and the Maple Leafs were non-committal about his availability for Game 1. This is likely gamesmanship more than anything, I don't think there's any real concern that Nylander won't be available for Saturday's contest.

Domi (undisclosed) will be back in the Maple Leafs lineup for Game 1 in Boston.

Domi missed the final two games of the regular season but will play in Game 1 vs. the Bruins on Saturday. Domi finished the season strong, scoring two goals with 13 assists (15 points) in his final 17 games of the season. He should continue to skate on the top line with Auston Matthews as well as PP2 in Game 1.

Toronto has signed Cade Webber to a two-year, entry-level contract ($885,000 AAV).

Webber was the 99th overall pick of the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old defenseman has spent the last four seasons playing collegiate hockey with Boston University and scored six points (0G / 6A) in 38 games in the 2023-24 campaign.

Rielly will be out of the lineup and rest for game 82 of the season vs. Tampa Bay.

With Wednesday's game vs. Tampa Bay seemingly meaning nothing, Morgan Rielly will rest as Conor Timmins steps back into Toronto's lineup. Rielly finishes his 2023-24 season with seven goals, 58 points, 173 SOG, 27 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus in 72 games played.

McCabe will rest for Toronto's final game of the season on Wednesday vs. Tampa Bay.

With Toronto's playoff picture already set, Jake McCabe will rest for game 82 of the regular season vs. Tampa Bay. The 30-year-old closes out his second season in Toronto with career highs in goals (8), assists (20), PIMs (56) and plus/minus (+20) across 73 games played.

Carlo (maintenance) is out on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Carlo will miss the final game of the season for Boston due to maintenance but is expected back for Game 1 of the playoffs. The 27-year-old's season comes to an end with his lowest point totals since 2020-21, with his four goals, 14 points, 79 SOG, 42 PIMs and +23 plus/minus through 76 games played.

Brandon Carlo
McMann (lower body) will miss the Maple Leafs' final two games and is questionable for the beginning of the playoffs.

McMann was limited to only 4:10 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings with a lower-body injury. McMann has 24 points (15G / 9A) in 56 games this season but has only one point in his last eight games.

Woll will start on Tuesday in Florida.

On the front end of a back-to-back, the Maple Leafs will turn to Woll in the on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. Woll has started one of every three games the last several weeks, a trend that continues on Tuesday as the Maple Leafs enter action as +135 road underdogs. Woll has allowed two or fewer goals in two of his last three games (2-1-0), including saving 18 of 20 shots (.900 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Joseph Woll
Stolarz will start on Tuesday vs. Toronto.

The Panthers will turn to Stolarz for their final game of the season on Tuesday night. Stolarz has been solid in a backup role this season and is coming off a 25-save performance in a 2-0 victory over the Ottawa Senators for his second shutout. The Panthers enter action as -149 home favourites against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

McMann (lower body) missed practice Monday after leaving Saturday's game early.

McMann was limited to only 4:10 time-on-ice before exiting Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings with a lower-body injury. McMann has 24 points (15G / 9A) in 56 games this season but has only one point in his last eight games.

The Maple Leafs have reportedly signed Webber to an entry-level contract.

The Maple Leafs acquired Webber's draft rights from the Hurricanes in March after Carolina was unable to sign their 2019 fourth-round pick (99th overall). The 23-year-old towering stay-at-home defenseman has scored only one goal and 16 points in 123 games played across four NCAA seasons with Boston University.
