Hofer will start vs. Florida on Thursday.

The Blues will turn to Hofer between the pipes on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. Hofer struggled in his most recent outing, allowing five goals on 36 shots (.861 SV%) in a 5-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. The 24-year-old Hofer has a 2.87 GAA and .903 SV% through 19 appearances this season (10-6-1). The Blue enter the action on Thursday as +146 home underdogs against a Panthers club coming off a 6-3 loss to the Washington Capitals.

Mailloux has been recalled from Laval (AHL).

Mailloux was productive in five games with the Canadiens earlier this season, scoring three points (1G / 2A) but has spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL with the Laval Rocket. The 21-year-old defenseman was the 31st overall pick of the Canadiens in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

Tucker (upper-body) is out vs. Edmonton on Tuesday and considered day-to-day.

Tucker played only 10:34 time-on-ice in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Utah Hockey Club and will not play on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers due to an upper-body injury. Nick Leddy (lower body) will return from a multiple-month absence, replacing Tucker on the blue line.
