Seattle has struggled lately, but remains within reach of a Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, and will need Daccord at his best on Thursday against the Utah Mammoth. The 29-year-old Daccord has allowed four goals in consecutive games (0-1-1), posting a 3.86 GAA and .843 SV%. In eight March games (2-5-1), he had a 3.54 GAA and .880 SV%. The Kraken enter Thursday's contest as +121 home underdogs against a Mammoth team coming off an impressive 6-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings.

Winterton has been on a leave of absence for over a week, but he was back at practice on Thursday. The 22-year-old forward is averaging 11:47 time-on-ice and has 18 points (4G / 14A) in 62 games this season.

Schwartz has not played since suffering an upper-body injury on March 7th, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday. The 33-year-old veteran forward has been productive offensively in a middle-six role and has been sorely missed for a Seattle team that struggles to generate offence and has gone 3-6-2 in his absence. Schwartz has 21 points (10G / 11A) in 42 games this season.

Wright entered action on Tuesday as a game-time decision after leaving Saturday's game with an upper-body injury. It's the first missed game of the season for Wright, who has 11 goals and 15 assists in 72 games this season.

The Kraken will somewhat surprisingly hand Grubauer a third consecutive start when they travel to Edmonton on Tuesday. To be fair, Grubauer was unfortunate to not come away with a victory in his last start, as he turned away 34 of the 36 shots he faced in a 3-2 shootout loss in Buffalo on Saturday. The 34-year-old netminder has enjoyed a bounce-back season, posting a 13-9-4 record and a .911 SV% across 29 appearances. The Kraken enter action on Tuesday just two points behind the Nashville Predators for the final Wild Card spot in the West with two games in hand.

Beniers played 20:19 time-on-ice in yesterday's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, but he status for Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres is uncertain due to an undisclosed injury. The 23-year-old forward has 45 points (19G / 26A) in 71 games this season.

Eberle played 18:50 of time on ice in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, but is battling an undisclosed injury, and his status for Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres is uncertain. The 35-year-old Eberle is having a terrific season for Seattle, with 51 points (23G / 28A) through 68 games. He has only hit the 60-point plateau once in the last decade.

Wright was limited to only 10:56 time-on-ice in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning due to an undisclosed injury. The 22-year-old Wright still managed to record an assist in the game, snapping a five-game scoreless streak. It is unclear what his status is for Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.

Morrison's only NHL action came in a four-game stint with the Kraken in the 2023-24 season, but has otherwise played exclusively in the AHL. The undrafted 23-year-old forward has 56 points (27G / 29A) in 61 games this season with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL).

Melanson will be the odd-man out when the Kraken travel to Tampa Bay on Thursday. He will replaced by the recently recalled Oscar Fisker-Molgaard.

Fisker-Molgaard made his NHL debut earlier this season, scoring one assist in three games, and has been recalled by a Seattle team desperate for an offensive uptick. The 21-year-old second-round pick from the 2023 NHL Entry Draft has 32 points (10G / 22A) in 46 games this season with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL).

Amid a five-game losing streak (0-4-1), Seattle will try to right their ship by turning to Grubauer on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 34-year-old Grubauer didn't provide much optimism in his most recent outing, allowing five goals on 25 shots (.800 SV%) in a 6-2 loss to the same Lightning team. Since returning from the Olympic break, Grubauer has a 3.49 GAA and .875 SV% in five appearances (1-3-0). Seattle enters Thursday's contest as sizable +248 road underdogs against a Tampa Bay team on a five-game point streak (4-0-1).
