Skinner remains out indefinitely so make arrangements around his status. The Canes did place him on IR recently, which should at least give you an extra roster spot in Yahoo! leagues.
To make room for Nash on the roster, forward Jeff Skinner will be placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Dec. 7.
Skinner can come off IR at any point. More importantly, you should now be able to put him on your team's IR.
RALEIGH, NC – Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that forward Jeff Skinner has been diagnosed with a concussion and is out indefinitely.
Rough break for Skinner and the Canes. At this point, fantasy hockey owners can only hope he is placed on IR and try to ride out his absence.
Rutherford said Skinner will be evaluated in Raleigh by doctors before decision is made on a return.
Skinner will not play tonight and likely will miss a few more games. Stay tuned for a further update.
