Kaut cleared waivers on Sunday and was sent to the AHL, where he had 31 points (19G / 12A) in 46 games a season ago. He appeared on track for a bottom-6 role with the Avalanche but will start the year with the Eagles.
Dellandrea broke his finger in Thursday's preseason game and is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks. Stars' head coach Pete DeBoer said that he had Dellandrea pencilled into the NHL roster, but the injury opens the door for someone else to step up.

Canadiens GM Kent Hughes released a statement on Thursday confirming that Price could potentially miss the entire 2022-23 campaign. Hughes said the "the news in terms of Carey's knee is pretty discouraging in the sense that there hasn't been any improvement through the rehab process all last season."
