Wennberg is expected to miss 3-to-4 weeks with an upper-body injury.

Wennberg was hurt Sunday in Montreal and will miss at least three weeks. Ryan MacInnis was recalled from Cleveland (AHL) on Monday and will take Wennberg's spot in the lineup vs. the Panthers. Wennberg had just started to heat up over the last month and a half, picking up 10 points (3G / 7A) in his last 17 games.

Skinner (upper-body) will return to the Sabres lineup on Tuesday.

Skinner missed the last 10 games with an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup vs. the Senators on Tuesday. Skinner had 17 points (11G / 6A) in his first 28 games of the season but had just two assists in his last 11 games before getting hurt in late-December.

Klingberg (lower-body) will travel on the Stars' California road-trip and should skate on Tuesday.

Klingberg missed Friday's game vs. the Red Wings but will travel out west with the Stars, which suggests that he could be back in the lineup this week. Monitor his status following Tuesday's practice and during the morning skate ahead of Wednesday's game.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Timothy Liljegren from Toronto (AHL).

Liljegren could make his NHL debut Saturday vs. the Rangers. It's hard to imagine the Maple Leafs recalling one of their top defensive prospects to sit as a healthy scratch when they already have seven healthy blueliners on the roster. Liljegren has three goals and 14 assists to lead all Marlies defensemen with 17 points in 27 games.

Skinner will miss 3-to-4 weeks with an upper-body injury.

Skinner was forced to leave Friday's game with an upper-body injury and Buffalo announced that he will miss at least three weeks. Skinner has been stuck in a tough stretch, point just one assist in his last nine games but this is still a horrible loss for the Sabres. Skinner will be out until at least mid-to-late January.
