Arturs Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs has a 9-5-3 record, .887 SV% and 2.92 GAA with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and has been recalled Monday by the Vancouver Canucks to be Spencer Martin's backup. Silovs has been recalled previously in his career but has yet to make his NHL debut so if he does see any game action, he will knock that milestone off his checklist.

Tommy Novak has been recalled from Milwaukee (AHL).

Novak had been enjoying a fantastic season in Milwaukee (AHL) prior to his call up, ranking 14th in the AHL in points with 11 goals, and 15 assists in 25 games played. Novak has previousy played 27 games in the NHL prior to this season, collecting a goal and seven points while being a -4 plus/minus.

Tristan Jarry will start Thursday vs. the Florida Panthers.

Jarry stopped 27 of 28 shots (.963 SV%) as he picked up his fifth straight win with a victory over Dallas in his last start. The 27-year-old has been the league's hottest netminder as of late, which has led to his 13-3-3 record, 2.67 GAA and .920 SV%. He should face a lot of rubber tonight as he takes on the Florida Panthers, who lead the league in shots per game (37.4) and won their last outing 4-0 over Columbus.

Andreas Johnsson will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Johnsson played his first game of the season in the Devils' previous game vs. Dallas but will head to the press box as a healthy scratch Thursday. Johnsson had 35 points (13G/22A) in 71 games in 2021-22, but has failed to catch his footing with the Devils this season and will hope to be back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

He will take on Dallas, who have won their last two games in overtime and rank third in the NHL in goals per game (3.75).

Jarry stopped 38 of 39 shots (.974 SV%) for his third straight win and seventh in eight starts as he beat Columbus in his previous start. He has been sensational yet again this season, with an 11-3-3 record, .919 SV% and 2.75 GAA. He takes on the red-hot Buffalo Sabres, who are coming off their best scoring effort with a 9-4 win over Columbus in their last game.

Letang (stroke) returned to the ice in a normal jersey on Thursday.

Just 10 days after suffering a stroke, Letang is back on the ice in a regular jersey. It's unclear when Letang will be back in the lineup, but this is incredible news after it seemed he might not play again this season. Wearing a regular jersey at practice suggests he plans on being back at some point.

Crosby missed the Penguins' practice Monday and will be a game-time decision Tuesday as Pittsburgh takes on Columbus. The Penguins' captain is in the middle of a five-game point streak (3G/3A) and ranks 10th in the NHL with 33 points (13G/20A) through 25 games played.

He faces the Columbus Blue Jackets who have struggled as of late, losing four of their last five games after a 4-2 loss to Detroit in their previous game.
