Chabot recorded an assist on Wednesday but played only 14:54 time-on-ice before exiting the game with a lower-body injury. The Senators have recalled Tyler Kleven from Belleville (AHL) as a precautionary measure if Chabot is unable to play on Thursday. Chabot has six points (2G / 4A) in his last six games.

Boston's goaltender carousel will continue on Wednesday as Linus Ullmark looks to pick up Boston's fifth win in their last eight games. The 30-year-old reigning Vezina Trophy winner has enjoyed another strong 2023-24, with his 19-8-7 record, 2.66 GAA and .914 SV%. He will host the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday, who have won seven of their last eight games and have the top powerplay in the NHL (29.0%).

Crotty made his NHL debut for the Coyotes on Sunday and registered four hits in 10:03 time-on-ice in a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. The 24-year-old Crotty was the 82nd overall pick of the Coyotes in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft and has spent the entirety of the last four seasons playing with the Tuscon Roadrunners (AHL).

Ottawa has signed Stephen Halliday to a two-year, entry-level contract which will begin in 2024-25.

Halliday had just finished his second season at Ohio State (NCAA) and has signed with Ottawa on a two-year, entry-level contract that starts in 2024-25. The 21-year-old undrafted forward enjoyed a very strong season with the Buckeyes in 2023-24, with 10 goals, 36 points and 30 PIMs in 38 games played.

Giroux is battling an illness and his status is up in the air for Thursday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. Despite the Senators' struggles this season, the 36-year-old Giroux has enjoyed another productive campaign, scoring 57 points (19G / 38A) in 67 games.

The Flyers made two transactions on Monday morning, recalling Lycksell and Adam Ginning from the Lehigh-Valley Phantoms (AHL). Lycksell played nine games with the Flyers this season but has spent most of his time in the AHL, scoring 38 points (19G / 19A) in 36 games with the Phantoms.
