The Bruins' starting goalie carousel continue Tuesday as Linus Ullmark will take the crease vs. Boston after backing up Jeremy Swayman in Boston's previous victory. The 30-year-old is the NHL's reigning Vezina Trophy winner but has come down to earth in 2023-24, with his 11-5-2 record, 2.82 GAA and .916 SV%. He will head to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last five games and are 16th in the NHL in goals per game (3.13).

Perron forfeited $148,437.48 in salary for his six-game suspension and will return to the lineup on Friday, playing his first game since December 9th. At Friday's morning skate, he practiced on the third line with Michael Rasmussen and Andrew Copp. Perron has seven goals and six assists in 26 games with the Red Wings this season.

Ullmark will be back between the pipes on Tuesday after Jeremy Swayman got the nod in Saturday's 2-1 overtime defeat to the Rangers. Ullmark has endured a relatively cold stretch of late, registering a 3-3-0 record and an .893 SV% across his last six starts. He did collect a win his last time out over the Islanders despite surrendering four goals on 37 shots. He draws an enticing matchup on Tuesday with the Bruins being -225 home favourites over the Wild.

Lycksell made his season debut with the Flyers on December 7th, playing 6:11 time-on-ice and recording two penalty minutes but he did not draw back into the lineup after that outing. In a corresponding move, the Flyers have recalled Rhett Gardner.

Ullmark will start for the third time in the last four games for the Bruins when they face off against the New York Islanders on Friday. Ullmark has played well despite allowing three goals in each of his last three contests (2-1-0), boasting a .917 SV%. Ullmark has a career 2.51 GAA and has fared favourably against the Islanders in his career, including a 5-2 victory on November 9th when he saved 27 of 29 shots (.931 SV%).

MacEwen will play for the first time since December 7th as he will draw into the Senators' lineup as a fresh body on the back end of a back-to-back, replacing Rourke Chartier. The 27-year-old MacEwen has played 10 games this season, recording one point (0G / 1A), 25 penalty minutes, and 15 hits.

Larsson had two goals, two assists, 14 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus in 18 games with the Belleville Senators (AHL) but has earned his first NHL call up of the season Wednesday. The 26-year-old stay-at-home defensemen returns to the NHL for his seventh career season and will hope to add to the three goals and 14 points he has amassed over 172 career games played.

Smejkal made his NHL debut on December 9th and appeared in two games for the Senators as he failed to pick up a point and SOG while only averaging 6:50 TOI and has been reassigned to Belleville (AHL) Wednesday. The 27-year-old first year NHLer returns to the minors, where he had three goals, six assists, four PIMs and a -10 plus/minus in 17 games prior to his call up.

Kaliyev missed the Kings' practice Tuesday and will be a game-time decision Wednesday vs. Winnipeg as he deals with an illness. The 22-year-old right-winger has enjoyed a solid start to his 2023-24 season, with six goals, 12 points, 10 PIMs, 47 SOG and a +7 plus/minus in 23 games played.

Perron will forfeit $148,437.48 in salary for his six-game suspension. He does have the option to appeal the suspension to a neutral arbitrator. Perron has seven goals and six assists in 26 games with the Red Wings this season.
