Reimer starts Thursday vs. the Oilers.

Reimer stopped all 25 shots that he faced in the Sharks shutout win over the Coyotes on Sunday. Reimer lost his first start with the Sharks, but has won three since while posting a 0.67 GAA, .975 SV% and two shutouts. Tonight he faces an Oilers team that has lost four of their last six games while being outscored 18-14.

James Reimer
Perron (shoulder) will return to Anaheim; expected to be out week-to-week.

Perron suffered the injury in Sunday’s win in Winnipeg. He will head back to California and is expected to miss the remaining four-games of the Ducks’ road-trip. Head coach Bruce Boudreau believes that Perron is week-to-week, so we may not see him on the ice for a few weeks. Expect Nick Ritchie to see increased playing time while Perron is out.

David Perron
Perron (upper-body) missed practice on Monday; questionable for Tuesday’s game in Montreal.

Perron suffered an upper-body injury in the Ducks win over the Jets on Sunday. He played just 5:07 TOI before retiring to the dressing room and his status for Tuesday’s game is in doubt. Consider him day-to-day until the Ducks announce further information.

David Perron
Eller (illness) will return to the Canadiens lineup on Wednesday.

Eller has missed the last two games with an illness, but will draw back into the lineup tonight in Buffalo. The two-way centre has 11 goals, 11 assists (22 points) and a minus-14 rating in 67 games this season. Stefan Matteau will be a healthy scratch with Eller back in.

Lars Eller
Reimer will start Tuesday vs. the Bruins.

Reimer stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Sharks shutout win in Edmonton last Tuesday. Martin Jones started the last two games, but Reimer will start his third game with the Sharks tonight. He has stopped 53 of 56 shots (.946 SV%) in two starts with San Jose and has gone 1-1-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .935 SV% in three starts with the Bruins when he was with the Maple Leafs.

Eller (upper-body) took part in the morning skate, but is listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday.

Eller missed Monday’s practice and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s meeting with Dallas. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups, but if he is unable to play look for Lucas Lessio to get into the lineup.

Lars Eller
Reimer will make his Sharks debut on Saturday.

Reimer has not appeared in a game since being acquired by the Sharks one week ago. While playing for an undermanned Maple Leafs team, Reimer stood tall all season, posting a 11-12-7 record, 2.49 GAA and .918 SV%. The 27-year-old starts his career with the Sharks against a Canucks team he is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .938 SV% against this season.

James Reimer
The Sharks have acquired James Reimer and Jeremy Morin from the Maple Leafs for Alex Stalock, Ben Smith and a 2018 conditional 4th round pick.

With Alex Stalock struggling as Martin Jones’ backup, the Sharks were in search of goaltending help, so they acquired pending free agent Reimer. The 27-year-old has posted an 11-12-3 record with a 2.49 GAA and .918 SV% with Toronto this season, which is incredibly impressive when you consider the quality of team he played behind. He will undoubtably push Jones for more starts than Stalock did and becomes a stronger option now that he’s out of Toronto.

James Reimer
Reimer starts Tuesday vs. the Predators.

Reimer gave up two goals on 15 shots after he replaced Jonathan Bernier in Saturday’s loss to Philadelphia. Reimer is 3-3-1 with a 3.92 GAA and .866 SV% this month and tonight he faces a Predators team that has gone 4-3-3 in their last 10 games. The Maple Leafs continue to tear their team down, making Reimer nearly impossible to trust.

James Reimer
Giroux (upper-body) missed Monday's practice; doubtful for Tuesday.

Giroux missed Saturday’s game in Toronto and his absence from this morning’s practice suggests that Giroux will miss a second straight game on Tuesday. Thankfully for the Flyers, it looks like Sean Couturier will return to the lineup, which should ease the loss of Giroux.
