Blidh, 21, was a sixth round pick (180th overall) in 2013 and was recalled after posting nine points (5G / 4A) in 19 games with Providence. Blidh will travel to Buffalo and could make his NHL debut on Saturday.
Miller had to get stitches on his knee after being hit by a Mats Zuccerello shot on Sunday. Rangers’ head coach Alain Vigneault said it is a 50/50 chance that Miller will be in the lineup on Tuesday. If he can’t play, Oscar Lindberg will get back into the lineup.
Zibanejad broke his fibula after sliding awkwardly into the boards during the Rangers’ shootout loss to the Panthers on Sunday. Zibanejad has enjoyed a great start to his Rangers career, having collected 15 points (5G / 10A) in 19 games, but that will be put on hold for at least six weeks. Expect Kevin Hayes to take on a bigger role in the Rangers’ offence with Zibanejad out.
Sheary missed the last seven games with an eye injury that he suffered back on October 18th. The young winger collected three points (1G / 2A) in the first four games of the season and will re-enter the lineup on the fourth line tonight.
Miller missed Tuesday’s practice but was on the ice for the morning skate and will be in the lineup on Wednesday. Miller had one goal and seven shots after being moved into the top-6 because of Chris Kreider’s injury. He makes for a solid daily choice tonight vs. the Bruins.
Sheary was caught by a high-stick in Tuesday’s loss in Montreal and the injury will keep him out of Thursday’s game. Sheary will come out of the lineup for at least one game. He is listed as day-to-day.
Quick will undergo a non-surgical procedure, but will about three months with a groin injury according to GM Dean Lombardi. The Kings will likely bring a goalie in from another team because Jeff Zatkoff proved he is not the answer in his two starts since Quick got injured.
The Kings did not release much information on Quick’s injury, other than to say that it was of the lower-body variety and that he is week-to-week. With Quick sidelined for an unknown amount of time, the Kings will turn to the duo of Jeff Zatkoff and Peter Pudaj. Zatkoff will likely start on Friday after stopping 16 of 17 shots in relief on Wednesday.
Quick left Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return. Kings’ General Manager Dean Lombardi said that it “could be a while” before Quick is back on the ice. The American born netminder is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday and more details should be released following the results of that MRI. If Quick is to miss an extended period of time, look for Jeff Zatkoff to take over as the starter and for the Kings to possibly look for outside help.
Quick left after the first period and is not expected to return. The Kings’ netminder stopped 14 of 15 shots in the first frame, that included a dustup with Joe Pavelski following the Sharks’ goal. There is no word on when Quick suffered the injury, but expected an update in the next 24 hours.

Miller finally broke through in 2015-16 after posting just 33 points (15G / 18A) in 114 games over his first three seasons. Miller scored 22 goals with 21 assists (43 points) last season and figures to take steps forward as a member of the Rangers’ top-6 in 2016-17.
Trocheck is looking like a third-round steal from the 2011 NHL Draft. The 22-year-old centre is coming off of a huge 25-goal, 28-assist (53 points) season, earning himself a huge extension. He is a key member of a young core in Florida that will be looking to do even more damage in 2016-17. Trocheck should be able to turn in another 25/25 season.
Trocheck has missed the Panthers last eight games with an ankle injury, but will travel with the team for Game 3 and could return to the lineup. He may not play on Sunday, but it is a good sign that he is nearing a return and should be back during the first round.
Quick went 9-7-2 in March and April, so he doesn’t come into the playoffs very hot. The 30-year-old has struggled against the Sharks this season, losing each of the three starts while posting an ugly 4.40 GAA and .845 SV% in three regular season meetings. Despite his lack of success vs. the Sharks, the playoffs is where Quick plays best. He has an impressive 45-31 playoff record while posting a 2.22 GAA, .911 SV% and nine shutouts.
