Marchessault has 14 goals, 13 assists, 121 SOG and nine PIMs through 35 games but will be forced to miss his first game of the year Friday as he is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Pavel Dorofeyev and Brayden Pachal were both recalled in corresponding moves.

He takes on the Chicago Blackhawks, who will be hoping to break the seven-game losing streak they find themselves in the middle of.

Saros allowed only two goals on 29 shots (.931 SV%) but still picked up his fifth straight loss in a defeat to the Colorado Avalanche in his last start. The 27-year-old has had an up-and-down season, with his 9-9-4 record, 2.84 GAA and .911 SV%. He draws a start vs. the Edmonton Oilers, who have lost their last two games but have the league's best power play (31.9).




Saros allowed one goal on 24 shots (.958 SV%) as he took the hard-luck overtime loss in a 1-0 defeat to St.Louis in his previous game. The 27-year-old has not been his usual dominant self this season, as shown by his 9-8-3 record, .908 SV% and 2.93 GAA. He draws the Winnipeg Jets, who will be looking to re-enter the win column after dropping their last two contests allowing a combined 11 goals against.

Lucchini has been enjoying a strong start to the season with Belleville (AHL) collecting seven goals, 23 points, and a -11 plus/minus through 24 games prior to his promotion. If he does make the Senators' lineup, the 27-year-old will be making his NHL debut.


Gravel has six assists, 10 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 22 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) prior to his promotion. Gravel brings 109 games of NHL experience to the Predators' lineup, with one goal, 12 assists and 120 SOG during that span.



This will be Englund's second stint with the Avalanche after putting up one assist and five PIMs through six games earlier this season. He had a goal, two assists and 47 PIMs with the Colorado Eagles prior to his promotion.


Saros stopped 34 of 35 shots (.971 SV%) to pick up his fifth win in six starts as he beat Anaheim in his previous start. The 27-year-old has been much better as of late and holds an 8-6-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and .910 SV%. He takes on the red-hot New Jersey Devils who are on a three-game winning streak and have won 16 of their last 17 games played.

Saros allowed three goals on 27 shots (.889 SV%) as he collected his third win in four starts with a victory over Arizona his previous time out. His up-and-down season has had a lot more ups as of late as he has improved his record to 7-6-2 with a .905 SV% and 3.06 GAA. He takes on the struggling Anaheim Ducks who have lost five of their last six games prior to Tuesday.
