Edmonton has signed Olivier Rodrigue to a one-year, two-way contract extension through 2024-25.

Rodrigue has earned himself a one-year, two-way extension with the Oilers after an impressive 17-10-4 record, .915 SV% and 2.72 GAA with Bakersfield (AHL) in 2023-24. The 23-year-old was Edmonton's 2018 second-round pick (62nd overall).

Stastney (upper-body) will return to the Predators' lineup on Thursday.

Stastney returned to the Predators lineup last Wednesday but abruptly exited the contest after playing 13:27 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. Stastney spent an early portion of the season with the Predators but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL. In 44 games with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), he has 20 points (5G / 15A).

The Coyotes' coaching staff has committed to alternating goalies down the stretch, a trend that will continue on Thursday with Ingram between the pipes. Ingram has lost two straight (0-2-0), allowing three or more goals in each, but played well in his last outing, saving 31 of 34 shots (.912 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. Emberson has been out since February 29th due to a lower-body injury and is likely to miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season as he recovers. The 23-year-old rookie stood out as one of San Jose's best defensemen most nights when dressed and will finish his first season with a goal, 10 points, 31 SOG, six PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 30 games before his injury.
