The Hurricanes have recalled Jack Drury from Chicago (AHL).
With a bunch of Hurricanes forwards in COVID-19 protocol, Drury is set up to make his NHL debut on Thursday. The 2018 second-round pick has scored seven goals with nine assists (16 points) in 23 AHL games this season.

Makar was a late scratch in Ottawa on Saturday but will play Monday in Philadelphia. Makar has been on a torrid pace recently, scoring 10 goals with 10 assists (20 points) in his last 14 games.

Wedgewood allowed five goals on 37 shots in the Coyotes loss in Minnesota last Tuesday. Wedgewood enjoyed a hot stretch after joining the Coyotes, going 3-1-1 with a .940 SV%, but the tires have fallen off a bit recently. Wedgewood has lost three in a row with a 4.04 GAA and .890 SVS%.
Barre-Boulet will be a healthy scratch on Sunday.

The Bruins were finally given the green light to call-up players from Providence after a COVID-19 breakout. Ahcan has picked up two goals with eight assists (10 points) in 19 AHL games this season.
