Wedgewood will start in Game Four.

Several weeks ago, Colorado was non-committal about who their starting goalie would be in the postseason, but three games in, they are confident in their decision to turn to Wedgewood. In his first postseason as a starting goalie, the 33-year-old Wedgewood has been outstanding, helping his team jump out to a 3-0 series lead, boasting a dazzling 1.28 GAA and .947 SV%. The Avalanche hope to sweep the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday, entering Game Four as -169 road favourites.

Manson (upper body) will not play in Game Four.

Manson was limited to only 4:57 time-on-ice in Colorado's 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game Three on Thursday, exiting due to an upper-body injury. Avs' Head Coach Jared Bednar has not provided much insight into Manson's injury, but he will not play in Game Four. The 34-year-old defenseman has two assists and 10 hits through three games this postseason.

Colton will draw into the Avalanche lineup for Game 3 in Los Angeles.

Colton was surprisingly a healthy scratch in each of the first two games of Colorado's round one series against the Kings, but will draw into the lineup on Thursday in place of Joel Kiviranta. Colton appeared n 73 regular season games for the Avs, tallying nine goals and 15 assists.

Wedgewood stopped a Quinton Byfield shootout attempt in the second period, one of 24 saves in Colorado's 2-1 overtime win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game Two. The 33-year-old Wedgewood has been tremendous in his first two career playoff starts, saving a combined 48 of 50 shots (.960 SV%). Several weeks ago, it seemed unclear who would be Colorado's starting goalie in the postseason, but Wedgewood's strong play has made it his crease to lose. Colorado enters Game Three as a -162 road favourite.

The 33-year-old Wedgewood ended the regular season with an absurd 0.64 GAA and .970 SV% in his last three games (3-0-0) and has clearly carried that momentum into the playoffs. The Avalanche enter Game Two on Tuesday as sizeable -256 home favourites.

Kadri (finger) is expected to be ready for Game 1 vs. Los Angeles.

Kadri missed the final five games of the regular season with a finger injury but the Avalanche expect him to be ready for Game 1 of the postseason. Kadri picked up nine points (4G / 5A) in 16 games after being acquired by the Avalanche.

Polin is expected to draw back into Colorado's lineup vs. Seattle on Thursday.

Entering their final game of the regular season, the Avalanche will likely rest some of their key players, resulting in several call-ups from the Colorado Eagles (AHL), including Polin. The 26-year-old Polin has spent most of the season in the AHL, where he has 21 points (10G / 11A) in 45 games with the Eagles.

Barre-Boulet is expected to draw back into Colorado's lineup vs. Seattle on Thursday.

Entering their final game of the regular season, the Avalanche will likely rest some of their key players, resulting in several call-ups from the Colorado Eagles (AHL), including Barre-Boulet. The 28-year-old Barre-Boulet has been exception with the Eagles this season, scoring 70 points (26G / 44A) in 69 games.

Toews (rest) is expected to draw back into Colorado's lineup vs. Seattle on Thursday.

Toews had the night off in Colorado's previous game, but he will suit up for their season finale on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken. The 31-year-old Toews has missed some time due to injuries this season, partly resulting in his decline in offensive totals. With 24 points (3G / 21A) through 67 games, he will finish the season with his lowest offensive output since his 18-point season as a rookie with the New York Islanders in 2018-19.

Nelson (rest) is expected to draw back into Colorado's lineup vs. Seattle on Thursday.

Nelson had the night off in Colorado's previous game, but he will suit up for their season finale on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken. The 34-year-old Nelson's first full season in Colorado has been a success, scoring 65 points (33G / 32A) through 80 games.
