Nichushkin has played fewer than 55 games in each of the previous four seasons due to injuries and could be headed down that same path in 2025-26, as he is out week-to-week.

Ahcan has been a regular in Colorado's lineup the previous two weeks, but he has been reassigned to the AHL. The 28-year-old defenseman averaged 11:21 time-on-ice and scored one assist in six games with the Avalanche.
