Lehkonen, who has recorded two goals and three assists (five points) in 18 games this season will be replaced by Paul Byron on a line with Jonathan Drouin and Alex Galchenyuk. Lehkonen is listed as day-to-day.

Kamenev, 21, was a second round pick in 2014 (No.42 overall) and started the season with Milwaukee (AHL) where he had eight points (3G / 5A) in nine games. Kamenev is NHL-ready, but the Predators were deep on the wing, so don’t be surprised if he gets a chance with the Avalanche in the near future. He has no points in two career NHL games.

It was a strong Arizona debut for the young netminder, who will start on back-to-back nights with Antti Raanta (lower-body) still on the mend. Going on back-to-back nights can be tough, but Wedgewood should be well rested and has a decent matchup in Detroit.
Wedgewood served as a backup on Saturday after being acquired from New Jersey and tonight he will make his debut in Philadelphia. The 25-year-old spent most of last season in Albany (AHL) where he was 5-3-0 with a 2.18 GAA and .912 SV%. The former third round pick will be their starter until Antti Raanta returns from injury.
Necas was the No.12 overall pick this summer and sat out the first three games of the season, but will make his debut tonight in Edmonton. Necas is a gifted offensive player, who collected 15 points (7G / 8A) in 41 games with Brno Kometa of the Czech league last season. Necas likely won’t stick with the Hurricanes, but he will get a chance to get some NHL experience under his belt and could see a handful of games. He has a some intrigue in daily contests tonight because he will be playing with Sebastian Aho and Elias Lindholm—a very dynamic trio that could make some noise vs. Oilers’ backup Laurent Brossoit.
Kulak, who had 10 points (2G / 8A) in 22 AHL games and three assists in 21 NHL games a season ago was expected to be in the opening night lineup, but Matt Barkowski will get the first crack alongside Michael Stone tonight.
Necas has high-end offensive ability and registered 15 points (7G / 8A) in 41 games en route to a Championship with HC Kometa Brno of the Czech Republic’s top league. Necas has great speed and creativity and brings a ton of compete to the Hurricanes' farm system.
Makar led all AJHL defensemen in goals (24), assists (51) and points (75) while suiting up in 54 games for the Brooks Bandits. Makar is a strong skater with great vision and should excel as a puck-moving/offensive defenseman in the NHL.
