The Panthers have signed Spencer Knight to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Knight, who was the No.13 overall pick in 2019, finished his sophomore season with Boston College going 16-4-1 with a 2.18 GAA and .932 SV% and three shutouts in 21 games. The 6-foot-3, 192 lbs. netminder ranked fifth in the nation in SV% and tied for fifth in wins, the most among sophomore goaltenders.

Teravainen (concussion) is expected to return to the Hurricanes lineup on Thursday.

Teravainen has missed the last seven games with a concussion but appears poised to return to the lineup on Thursday. Teravainen skated with Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov in the morning skate, so he should be active with a plus matchup with the Red Wings in town.

Murphy (right hip) was activated from IR and could return to the Blackhawks lineup on Tuesday.

Murphy has been out since February 7th with a hip injury but was activated from IR on Monday. Head coach Jeremy Colliton would not commit to him playing on Tuesday, so monitor his status during the morning skate, but all signs are pointing towards him suiting up in Columbus.

Bertuzzi (upper-body) is expected to miss at least the next 4-6 games.

Bertuzzi, who was hurt last Saturday vs. the Panthers, did not travel to start the Red Wings six-game road-trip. Head coach Jeff Blashill said he'll definitely be out for the first four games of the trip and may miss all six. This is a tough break for Bertuzzi, who was red-hot to start the season, posting seven points (5G / 2A) in his first nine games.
