Murchison was a fifth-round pick, 158th overall, of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman is in his first full professional campaign, scoring four points (1G / 3A) in 21 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL).
The Flyers recalled Murchison from Lehigh Valley (AHL) on Saturday.
