Theodore, 21, has split his season between the NHL and AHL. In 21 games with the Ducks he has six points (1G / 5A) and has picked up nine points (1G / 8A) in 11 games with the Gulls. He swaps places with Brandon Montour and should be in the lineup on Thursday.

Theodore has been a healthy scratch in three of the last six games and with Brandon Montour up and playing well, Theodore will return to San Diego to get more playing time.

It was believed that Theodore would draw in for the injured Simon Despres on Sunday, but the Ducks will insert Korbinian Holzer instead of Theodore.
