Fabbri will make his Minnesota' debut on Tuesday vs. Tampa Bay.

Fabbri was acquired off of waivers from the St. Louis Blues on Monday and will make his debut with Minnesota on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 30-year-old forward scored four points (1G / 3A) in 15 games with the Blues this season.

The Blues signed Fabbri in December to help fill in for injured players, but with health returning to their lineup, Fabbri was placed on waivers and claimed by Minnesota. The 30-year-old forward scored four points (1G / 3A) in 15 games with the Blues.

Fabbri will be a healthy scratch vs. Vegas on Friday.

Mathieu Joseph will draw back into the Blues' lineup on Friday against the Vegas Golden Knights, sending Fabbri to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 29-year-old Fabbri has averaged 13:03 time-on-ice and scored three assists in eight games with the Bleus this season.

Fabbri signed a PTO with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) two weeks ago and immediately drew into the Blues' lineup after signing a one-year, two-way contract. The 29-year-old Fabbri has played well in his return to the NHL, including first-line deployment, and has scored two points (0G / 2A) in four games. Matt Luff will draw into the lineup as Fabbri's replacement.

Fabbri has battled a myriad of injuries in his career, making his return to the NHL this season a challenging one. He signed a PTO with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) last week, scoring two points (1G / 1A) in three games, and ultimately earned himself a one-year, two-way contract. The 29-year-old Fabbri has 216 points (106G / 110A) in 442 career NHL games, but has only played more than 56 games in a season once in the last decade. With Nick Bjugstad (upper body) expected to miss at least a couple games, Fabbri will draw into the lineup as his replacement.

The often-injured Fabbri unfortunately returns to a familiar spot on the Injured Reserve. The 29-year-old forward has played more than 60 games in a season only three times in his nine-year career. He has 16 points (8G / 8A) in 44 games with the Ducks this season.

Fabbri is averaging 16:33 time-on-ice, the most in his career since the 2021-22 season with the Detroit Red Wings, but only has two points (2G / 0A) in 14 games this season. The 29-year-old Fabbri will be out of the lineup for approximately six weeks after undergoing surgery on his meniscus.
