Elliott has won each of his two appearances since being re-called from his conditioning stint in the AHL. In his two wins he posted a 2.28 GAA and .929 SV%. Elliott is 0-2-0 with a 4.08 GAA and .854 SV% in two starts vs. the Red Wings this season.

Elliott allowed one goal on 20 shots in a relief effort of the injured Jaroslav Halak. It was his first NHL action since March 5th, but he will start tomorrow. With Halak out, Elliott will need to play well if he doesn't want to lose starts to Jake Allen. He has a tough matchup tomorrow vs. the Blackhawks.

Brian Elliott has been assigned to Peoria for conditioning, where he will start two games and return to St. Louis.

Elliott will start for the Rivermen on Friday against Oklahoma City and Saturday against Lake Erie before returning to the Blues following Saturday’s game. Elliott, 27, has appeared in 11 games for the Blues this season, posting a 3-6-1 record with a 3.65 goals-against average and a .851 save percentage.

Elliott will start Sunday for the Blues

Elliott hasn't started since February 11. Elliott has struggled this season he will enter tomorrow's game with a 3.57 GAA and .849 SV%. He will have a solid matchup vs. the Stars. He likely won't see too many starts going forward as it appears Halak is the clear #1 at this point.

Elliott gets his third straight start tomorrow.

Halak was expected to miss the first 2 games this week so Elliott had a good chance to play well and earn himself some extra starts, however he allowed 9 goals in those 2 starts and lost both. He'll start tomorrow against the Ducks because Halak still isn't ready but Halak will take the #1 job back as soon as he is healthy.

Brian Elliott will start at least next two games. Hitch expects Halak to be ready by the weekend. #stlblues

This is good news for fantasy owners of Elliott as he will be guaranteed the next two starts. Elliott is 3-2-0 with a 2.34 GAA and .900 SV% not bad numbers for Elliott but not as good as Halak. This is a mini audition for Elliott, if he plays well in these two games he will likely see more starts going forward.

Elliott gets the nod in Columbus.

Elliott struggled allowing 4 goals on 16 shots in his last start but still registered the win. He'll get the easier of the 2 games in the Blues upcoming back-to-back as he'll face the Blue Jackets and Halak will play the Red Wings.

Brian Elliott
Elliott to start tonight against the Blackhawks.

Elliott came in for a struggling Halak last night against the Predators and stopped all 13 shots that he faced and recorded the win. The Blues were always starting Elliott tonight because of the back-to-back so I don't think that the Blues have lost faith in Halak just yet.

Prospect Jake Allen will serve as Brian Elliott's backup for the first two games of the series. Halak won't rejoin the goaltending equation until healthy.

Elliott is the top goalie, statistically, this playoffs and looks to continue his stellar play in Round 2 vs. the Kings.
