Pachal had two assists, 18 SOG, eight PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 10 games in 2022-23 with Vegas and has signed a two-year, $1.55 Million contract extension ($775,000 AAV). The 23-year-old defenseman was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Golden Knights originally, and has played in 12 NHL games since.

Pachal has three goals, 12 assists, 90 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) and has been recalled to Vegas Wednesday. The 23-year-old has two assists, six PIMs and a +1 plus/minus in nine games with Vegas already this season.


Pachal will return to the Golden Knights for the second time this season after he collected one assist and a +1 plus/minus in two games in his previous call-up. In Henderson (AHL), he had two goals, six assists and 67 PIMs through 27 games while captaining Vegas' minor league affiliate.

Pachal has been recalled after scoring two goals, five assists and 62 PIMs in 25 games with the Henderson Silver Knight (AHL). This will be his second career NHL call-up, with his first coming in 2021-22, where he played two games and was a -2 plus/minus.


Pachal was an undrafted free agent who had 15 goals with 36 assists (51 points) in 66 games with the Prince Albert Raiders (WHL) in 2019. He’ll report for a fifth WHL season with the Raiders in 2020.
