Holtz did not play in the Devils' previous game as he was a healthy scratch, but he will draw back the Devils' lineup Friday vs. Boston. The 20 year-old-rookie has two goals, 14 SOG and eight PIMs across 13 games played with New Jersey so far.

Holtz was a healthy scratch for the Devils' previous game but will draw back into the lineup after collecting two goals, 10 SOG and eight PIMs while averaging only 10:04 ATOI in his rookie season. He will return to the lineup Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Holtz had a very strong showing in Utica (AHL) prior to his call-up, posting two goals and two assists in three games. This will be his second run with the big club this year after scoring a goal and posting a -2 plus/minus across four games with New Jersey earlier in the season.

With some of the Devils forward out with an illness, Holtz will suit up for his eighth career NHL game on Thursday. The 20-year-old, who has 26 goals with 25 assists (51 points) in 52 AHL games this season, will skate on a line with Jesper Bratt and Jesper Boqvist.
