Vancouver has signed Derek Forbort to a one-year, $2 million contract extension.

Vancouver's General Manager Patrik Allvin announced Tuesday that the team had signed Derek Forbort to a one-year, $2 million contract extension. The 33-year-old will look to build off his first season in Vancouver in 2024-25, which saw him appear in only 54 games due to injury but put up two goals, 11 points and 45 penalty minutes.

Kampf is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 6 on Friday in Florida.

Kampf's only playoff appearance was Game 5 vs. Florida, but he will take a seat yet again in the press box as Calle Jarnkrok returns to Toronto's lineup for Game 6. Kampf had five goals and 13 points in the bottom-six role during the regular season but has struggled to find himself in Toronto's lineup for the playoffs.

The Canucks have signed Tom Willander on a three-year, entry-level contract starting in 2025.26.

Wallinder was the No.11 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft and signs his entry-level contract after his second year at Boston University. The 20-year-old defenseman had two goals and 22 assists (24 points) in 39 games this season.

Buium was Minnesota's 12th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in this postseason, often quarterbacking the top powerplay unit, scoring one point (0G / 1A) in 4 games. He will head to the sidelines as a healthy scratch, being replaced by Jon Merrill.
