As originally expected, it is Sergachev’s turn to sit in the Lightning’s defence rotation. Sergachev will likely draw back into the lineup in New York on Wednesday.

Agozzino, who has three assists in 10 career NHL games a few years ago, is expected to play on Colorado’s fourth-line on Monday. Agozzino was tied for fourth in the AHL in points (50) and tied for 12th in goals (22) when he was called-up—both lead the Eagles.

Weegar has been in the lineup for the last two games but will be replaced by Ian McCoshen on Thursday.

Weegar was activated from IR prior to Friday’s game but sat out for a fourth straight game. Tonight he will replace Ian McCoshen and is expected to skate with Josh Brown.

Durzi was a second-round pick (No.52 overall) in 2018 but remains unsigned as he plays for the Guelph Storm (OHL). Durzi, who was traded by Owen Sound this season, has totalled eight goals and 20 assists (28 points) in just 26 OHL games between the two teams.

Rooney appeared in the final four games before the All-Star break but was sent back for the duration of the break. He returns to New Jersey, where he has one goal in nine games while averaging 9:24 TOI/gm.

Yamamoto was in the lineup for the last four games but has just one goal and one assist in 17 NHL games this season. He goes back to the AHL, where he has four goals and four assists (eight points) in 11 games.

Stenlund has been in the lineup for the last four games but will be replaced by Anthony Duclair on Saturday.

Weegar suffered a concussion in Montreal on Tuesday on a hit that resulted in Paul Byron getting suspended for three games. Josh Brown is expected to make his NHL debut in Weegar’s place on Friday.

Yamamoto has missed the last eight games with an upper-body injury but will play Wednesday in Vancouver. Yamamoto will replace Ty Rattie on the Oilers’ second line but has just one goal on 12 shots and one assist in 13 games this season.

Rooney, 25, has not registered a point in four games with the Devils this season but has 17 points (1G / 16A) in 34 games with Binghamton. There is no word whether or not he will play in his 10th career NHL game on Thursday.

This is a huge blow for the Coyotes, who gave up Dylan Strome and Brendan Perlini for Schmaltz and now their forward depth will be tested. Schmaltz season ends with 25 points (7G / 18A) in 40 games—five goals and nine assists (14 points) in 17 games with Arizona.

Connauton is a little banged up and is not expected to play Friday vs. the Devils. Connauton will be replaced by Alex Goligoski, who returns after a one-game absence with an illness.

Schmaltz missed Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury and could miss an extended period of time. Laurent Dauphin has been recalled from the AHL to fill-in for Schmaltz while he is out.

Schmaltz was forced to leave Sunday’s game vs. Vegas with a lower-body injury and will not play on Wednesday. Schmaltz is listed as day-to-day, which makes him questionable for Friday’s game vs. the Devils.
