Kucherov has been dealing with a lower-body but he was in practice on Monday and head coach Jon Cooper is “optimistic” that Kucherov will be ready to go for their October 6th opener against the Panthers.
Girgensons will miss the last few games of the regular season after suffering a facial injury that required surgery on Wednesday. Girgensons will be replaced by Alex Nylander tonight.
Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Boston on Thursday. He was given two of the last three games off, but will start tonight vs. the Predators.
