On the Brayden Schenn front, Holmgren announced that he skated and did his off ice conditioning again today and has made good strides. His status is now day-to-day.

With Claude Giroux back in the lineup, the Flyers can play it safe with their youngsters. Schenn has no points through six games with a minus-6 rating and may get yet another conditioning stint when healthy.

This injury is related to the one that's sidelined him most of the season. While he appears ready for NHL duties, the younger Schenn will need to be healthy in order to produce at this level.

Schenn will rehab with the Adirondack Flyers and likely plays a few games before returning to the big club. The former fifth overall pick had no points through four games before getting hurt.

Faulk, recalled Thursday from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), will replace Derek Joslin, who will be a healthy scratch.

Faulk was compared to Jeff Skinner during training camp which is telling to how the organization views the youngster. Look for him to get some minutes at even strength and a look on the power play.

Faulk was assigned to Charlotte on Oct. 19, and played in three games with the Checkers during the weekend, notching a goal and earning an assist (2 points).
