The Ducks are still battling for a playoff spot in the final week of the season, so this is a huge loss for them. Even if the Ducks are able to hold onto their playoff position, the loss of Fowler will hurt their blueline in the post season.

Faulk is dealing with a lingering upper-body injury and will come out of the lineup for the fourth time in six games. Roland McKeown will draw into the lineup for Faulk.

Krug has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury but is expected to play tonight in Minnesota. Krug has four assists in his last two games and 39 total on the season to go with 13 goals (52 points) in 62 games.






It is unclear what happened to Krug that forced him from Tuesday’s win in Carolina. Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy did not have any sort of update on Krug postgame, so he will likely be reevaluated on Wednesday and an update will follow. Krug was reportedly seen walking around without any obvious signs that he is dealing with a lower-body injury.

With Nikita Zaitsev battling an illness, Rosen has been summoned from the AHL, where he has picked up 17 points (1G / 16A) in 50 games. He had one assist in four games with the Maple Leafs earlier this season.

Buchnevich has missed the Rangers last seven games with a concussion. He has 32 points (13G/19A) in 50 games this season. He is expected slot in on the Rangers' second line alongside Michael Grabner and J.T. Miller.

Sundqvist had two goals and four assists (six points) in six games during his conditioning stint. He returns to the Blues, where he has just three assists in 30 games this season.

Buchnevich will miss his third straight game with a concussion but he skated this morning and is progressing according to Alain Vigneault. Buchnevich does not have a timetable for his return, so monitor his status as the week progresses.

Buchnevich sustained a concussion when he took an elbow to the jaw in the second period of the Rangers loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Buchnevich is in concussion protocol and is out indefinitely.

Sundqvist was a heathy scratch for the last six games and will head to San Antonio to get some playing time. Sundqvist has just three assist in 30 games this season and will make his Rampage debut this week—he had 46 points (20G / 26A) in 63 AHL games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season.

Sundqvist has been out of the lineup for the last six games, but will replace Chris Thorburn tonight vs. the Panthers. Sundqvist has just three assists in 29 games this season.
