He takes on the San Jose Sharks who have amazingly lost three straight games in a shootout after their 5-4 loss to Anaheim their previous time out.

Tyler Tucker has been recalled from Springfield (AHL).

Tucker was having a strong start to his season in Springfield (AHL) prior to his promotion, with a goal and six assists and a +7 plus/minus in 11 games played. He has yet to play a game in the NHL so will make his career debut when he is slotted into the Blues' lineup.

Nikita Alexandrov has been recalled from Springfield (AHL).

Alexandrov will be called up to the Blues' lineup from Springfield (AHL) to add a spark as St.Louis finds itself in the middle of an eight-game losing streak. He has four goals and eight points in nine games with Springfield prior to his promotion and has never played in the NHL before his callup.

Matt Luff is out 10-12 weeks after undergoing wrist-surgery Wednesday.

Luff only managed 8:43 TOI before being forced to leave the Red Wings' previous contest vs. the Canadiens due to an incredibly dangerous boarding hit from rookie Juraj Slafkovsky. Luff has one goal through seven games after receiving a promotion to the Red Wings after a few games with Grand Rapids this season. He is out for 10-12 weeks following wrist surgery Wednesday.

Things likely won't get any better on Monday, as he gets set to face a Bruins team that is first in the NHL in goals per game (4.1).

The up-and-down netminder will be hoping to raise his .903 SV% and lower his 2.60 GAA, unlike what he has done in his last two starts. They will take on the LA Kings, who are coming off a 4-2 victory over Toronto and have scored four goals in each of their last three games.
