Kakko suffered an upper-body injury in Carolina on Friday and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Kakko was skating on the top line with Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider, so this injury opens up a huge hole to be filled.
Oleksiak, who missed practice yesterday due to a non-COVID illness, will be re-evaluated but is doubtful as of now to be in tonight.
McCormick was a healthy scratch on Monday but will replace Morgan Geekie (upper-body) in the lineup on Wednesday. McCormick has no points in eight games this season.
Schwartz has been out since December 29th and will miss at least another month. Lately, Marcus Johansson has been replacing Schwartz on the Kraken top line. Expect him to be moved to IR in the next few days.
