McCann has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury but is expected to play Saturday in Washington. In addition to McCann, the Kraken will also add Jaden Schwartz (hand) into the top-6. McCann has scored a career-high 21 goals with 12 assists (33 points) in 48 games this season.

Schwartz has not played since December 29th due to a hand injury but is expected to be back in the lineup in Washington. Schwartz has tallied six goals with 14 assists (20 points) in 29 games this season.

Kartye was an undrafted free agent out of the OHL, who has scored 33 goals with 25 assists (58 points) in 45 games with the Soo Greyhounds.

Schultz missed Saturday's game in Philadelphia but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. Toronto. He will likely replace Michal Kempny if he is cleared to play.

Schultz took a maintenance day yesterday and is questionable to play Saturday in Philadelphia. Schultz recently returned from an upper-body injury.

Schultz was on the ice for Thursday's morning skate, which is a good sign that he will be available in New York. However, the Capitals did not update his status after the session, so consider him a game-time decision for now.

This move came after the morning skate, so it appears as if McCann suffered an injury during the morning session. Kole Lind was recalled from the AHL to take McCann's spot on the roster. Expect a more detailed injury report in the next 24 hours.

Murray and his wife welcomed a new baby this morning, so Filip Gustavsson is expected to serve as Anton Forsberg's backup vs. the Wild. Expect Murray to be available for Saturday's game vs. Montreal.
