Malkin has served his four-game suspension and will play Saturday in Detroit.

Malkin was suspended for cross-checking Mark Borowiecki on April 10th and missed the last four games, where the Penguins went 2-1-1. He was back on the second line in Friday's practice and will play Saturday against the Red Wings. Since making his season debut on January 11th, Malkin has been a point-per-game player, scoring 17 goals with 20 assists (37 points) in 37 games.

Jarry is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Jarry picked up a lower-body injury on Thursday and is expected to miss an extended period of time. With the end of the season just two weeks away, it seems like Jarry could miss the rest of the regular season, making him questionable for the start of the postseason. Louis Domingue will serve as Casey DeSmith's backup on Saturday and could start one of the Penguins' back-to-back games next week.

Jarry (lower-body) will not be available on Saturday.

Jarry stopped 36 of 39 shots in the Penguins' win over the Islanders on Thursday but will not be available on Saturday. He'll be re-evaluated and a timeline should be released over the weekend. Look for Louis Domingue to be called up and serve as Casey DeSmith's backup on Saturday.

Dumba (upper-body) will not play Friday in St. Louis.

Dumba suffered an upper-body injury in Nashville on Tuesday and will not be available on Friday. Head coach Dean Evason said that Dumba's prognosis was “more positive than we anticipated,” so it doesn't look like he'll be sidelined for an extended period of time. Look for Jordie Benn to draw into the lineup in Dumba's place on Friday.
