Giroux (leg) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Giroux missed the morning skate, but is listed as a game-time decision. He was listed as GTD on Saturday as well and did not come out for warmups, that is not likely to be the case tonight. Giroux did jump on the ice late in the skate just to shoot some pucks, so monitor his status during pre-game warmups.

Giroux (leg) is game-time decision for Saturday’s game vs. New Jersey.

Giroux who was cut near his ankle in Friday’s game, will take part in warmups and then he, along with Flyers medical and coaching staff will determined whether Giroux will be in the lineup vs. the Devils. Giroux has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 13 games over the last month.

Giroux (leg) is probable to play on Saturday in New Jersey.

Giroux left Saturday’s game with a leg injury and did not return. Giroux was cut near his ankle and he originally feared that he severed his Achilles tendon. "It was pretty scary," Giroux said. "I tried to get up, but it felt really weird. I tried to put pressure on it, but it didn't feel too good.” The injury obviously looked worse than it was and he is expected to be in the lineup tonight vs. the Devils.

Perron will play on the top-line with Sidney Crosby in his Penguins debut.

There is no word on how all four lines will shakeout or who will come out of the lineup, but we do know that Perron will start his Penguins career on a line with Crosby. He leaves the dumpster fire in Edmonton to play with the best player in the World, not a bad deal for Perron. His fantasy value is obviously on the rise.

David Perron
Perron will make his Penguins debut on Saturday vs. Montreal.

Perron, who was acquired from the Oilers on Friday, did not play last night vs. Tampa Bay but will play tonight vs. the Canadiens. Because of the back-to-back the Penguins did not have a morning skate, so there is no word on who Perron is going to play with tonight. You would have to think that they will ease him in and they could move him around between Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin to see where he fits best.

David Perron
The Penguins have acquired David Perron from the Oilers for a 2015 first round pick and Rob Klinkhammer.

The Penguins have battled injuries all season long, so they have shipped a draft pick to a rebuilding team for a top-6 forward. Perron had a career high-28 goals and 57 points last season, but has just 19 points (5G / 14A) in 38 games this season. His fantasy value is certainly on the rise now that he moves from the 27th ranked offence to the sixth best.

Eller (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Eller was cleared for contact on Wednesday and was in the morning skate, but it remains to be seen if he will return after missing the last four games with an upper-body injury. If Eller is not available, Eric Tangradi will play.

Lars Eller
Giroux (lower-body) will play tonight.

Giroux was originally ruled out for the next two games, but called GM Ron Hextall before the game tonight and said he felt “fine”. The Flyers got Giroux to the arena and he will be in the lineup tonight on a line with Brayden Schenn and Jakub Voracek. Giroux has 21 points (5G / 16A) in 16 games this season.
