Pilon has posted five points (1G/4A) in his first seven games with Hersey (AHL) prior to his call-up to Washington Wednesday. In three career NHL games, he is shooting a perfect one-for-one, with one goal on one shot.

Ullmark was unbeatable his last time out, shutting out the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-0 off a 30-save performance. He has been as close to perfect as can be this season, leading the NHL in wins with a 6-0-0 record to go along with his 4th-placed .945 SV% and 5th-placed 1.70 GAA. He takes on a struggling Pittsburgh Penguins team who has last their last four games while only scoring more than one goal once during that time.

Artem Zub will miss at least a week after it was announced Friday that he sustained an upper-body injury. It is a big loss for the Senators as Zub was playing 21:59 ATOI and was +2 with three points (1G/2A) in his first seven games prior to the injury.
