This is a huge loss for the Senators but will help them in their efforts to give the Avalanche the No.1 overall pick this summer. With Chabot hurt, Christian Wolanin and Cody Ceci skated as the Senators top-pairing in Wednesday’s practice.

Ullmark was pulled after he allowed four goals on 20 shots in the Sabres loss to the Oilers last Monday. Ullmark is now 1-5-0 with a 4.22 GAA and .881 SV% in his last six appearances. In his first start against the Stars, Ullmark stopped 26 of 27 shots in a 1-0 shutout loss (Jan.30).
