Greig has a goal, five assists, 21 SOG, 10 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 16 games played and will now be a game-time decision Saturday due to an undisclosed injury. The Senators should provide more of an update by game-time Saturday.

Mads Sogaard will start Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

Sogaard allowed two goals on 35 shots (.943 SV%) for his fifth-straight loss as he was beaten by the league-leading Boston Bruins in his last start. The 22-year-old has struggled in his first NHL action, with his 5-5-2 record, 3.38 GAA and .887 SV%. He takes on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who have lost two straight but are still eighth in the NHL in goals per game (3.43).

The 21-year-old will burn a year of eligibility if he does play for the Senators but is their 2020 second-round pick (44th overall).
