Jacob Larsson has been reassigned to Belleville (AHL).

With the recent addition of Jakob Chychrun, Jacob Larsson finds himself the odd man out of the Senators' roster and will head back to Belleville (AHL) after failing to pick up a point through seven games with Ottawa. The 25-year-old defenseman returns to the minors, where he had two goals, 10 points and 24 PIMs across 37 games played prior to his promotion.

Lars Eller will make his Colorado Avalanche debut Wednesday.

Eller has seven goals, nine assists, 101 SOG, 36 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 60 games played with the Washington Capitals and has been traded to the Avalanche for a 2025 second-round pick Wednesday and will draw into Colorado's lineup.

Olle Lycksell will be a healthy scratch Wednesday vs. the New York Rangers.

Lycksell has an assist, eight PIMs and five SOG through eight games but will be a healthy scratch Wednesday as Philadelphia takes on the New York Rangers. The Flyers' will be going with seven defensemen which have led to the 23-year-old being a healthy scratch.

The Capitals have signed Nick Jensen to a three-year contract extension worth $12.15 million ($4.05M AAV).

Jensen has two goals, 22 assists, 82 SOG, 16 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 62 games this season and has signed a three-year contract extension worth $12.15 million ($4.05M AAV). The 32-year-old is rounding out his fifth season in Washington.

The Sharks have acquired Fabian Zetterlund, Shakir Mukhamadullin, Nikita Okhotyuk, Andreas Johnsson, a Conditional 2023 1st Round Pick, a Conditional 2024 2nd Round Pick and a 2024 7th Round Pick from the Devils for Timo Meier, Scott Harrington, Santeri Hatakka, Zachary Emond, Timur Ibragimov, and a 2024 5th Round Pick.

Zetterlund has been in-and-out of the Devils lineup this season, scoring six goals with 14 assists (20 points) in 45 games. The 2017 third-round pick has an outstanding shot and will provide some offensive punch in the Sharks' middle-6. Zetterlund should see an increase in usage (12:57 ATOI in NJD) following this trade.

Jake Sanderson has been activated from the injured reserve (upper-body).

Sanderson last played on February 11th due to an upper-body injury and has been activated off the injured reserve Thursday. The 20-year-old rookie has three goals, 18 assists, 85 SOG, six PIMs and a -3 plus/minus through 51 games prior to his injury.
