Cozens played 15:15 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets but was absent from practice on Wednesday due to a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Cozens has 26 points (10G / 16A) in 53 games this season and is pacing for the worst offensive production of his career since his rookie season in 2020-21 when he had 13 points (4G / 9A) as a rookie in 41 games. Cozens' status is up in the air for when the Sabres return to action on Saturday against the Nashville Predators.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is battling a minor injury so the Sabres will turn to Reimer between the pipes on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
