Horvat left Monday's game vs. the Jets and will be a game-time decision for the rematch on Wednesday. Horvat participated in the Canucks' morning skate and head coach Travis Green called that a "good sign" but added that they'll "see if they're ready to go or not tonight."








Lee suffered a lower-body injury vs. the Devils last Thursday and the Islanders announced on Wednesday that he will undergo surgery later this week and miss the rest of the season. Since Lee got hurt Kieffer Bellows on the top line but it's unclear if that is the long-term solution. The Islanders added that Lee will be ready for the 2022 season.


Pageau was added to the COVID-19 protocol list prior to Sunday's game but was activated on Monday and will play Tuesday vs. Washington. Pageau, who has nine goals and eight assists (17 points) in 28 games this season, will be back in his usual spot on the third line.




Duclair has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury but is expected to play Saturday vs. the Blackhawks. Duclair, who has two goals and eight assists (10 points) in 19 games this season, will start on the fourth line.

Lee left Thursday's game after playing just 3:35 TOI and did not return. On Friday, the Islanders announced that he's out indefinitely and that there will be no further update provided at this time. It's an ominous update and makes it seem like he's going to miss an extended period of time.
