The 26-year-old Tsyplakov, in his first NHL season, is averaging 16:15 time-on-ice, scoring 19 points (7G / 12A) in 44 games. He's been held off the scoresheet in 10 straight.

The Devils will turn to Markstrom between the pipes for the 34th time this season when they travel to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Markstrom played well in a losing effort his last time out, allowing just one goal on 28 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. The 35-year-old netminder owns a 21-8-4 record and a .913 SV% on the season. Markstrom and the Devils enter action on Thursday as slight road favourites at -125 on the money line.

Noesen did not play in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers and will likely not play on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old Noesen is far-and-away having his best offensive season, scoring 28 points (17G / 11A) in 45 games.
