Tarasenko missed the last two games with an illness but will play Thursday vs. the Flyers. With the second line playing well in his absence, he'll start on the "third" line with Robert Thomas and Ivan Barbashev.

Tarasenko will miss his second straight game with an illness but could join the team in Buffalo for Friday's game. The Blues will also be without Robert Thomas (upper-body), so the Blues may need to go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen.

Tarasenko will miss Saturday's game in Columbus due to an illness. Robert Thomas is expected to return from an illness of his own to replace Tarasenko in the lineup.

Sturm, who was acquired from Minnesota for Tyson Jost on Tuesday, will start his Avalanche career on the third line with Alex Newhook and J.T. Compher on his wings. Sturm has scored 20 goals with 16 assists (36 points) in 111 career NHL games.

The Avalanche frees up $1.275 million in AAV with this swap and acquire a bigger centre to play in their bottom-6. Sturm was an undrafted free agent out of Clarkson University, who has scored nine goals with eight assists (17 points) in 53 games with the Wild this season.

Middleton missed Wednesday's practice but is feeling better and could play on Thursday. Monitor his status as the Sharks hit the ice for warmups at 10:00 PM ET.

Bogosian has been out since January 15th due to a lower-body injury but will suit up against his former team on Tuesday. The 31-year-old has scored two goals with four assists (six points) in 23 games this season.
