Forsberg stopped 28 of 31 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Nashville on Tuesday. With Corey Crawford getting hurt on Thursday the Blackhawks will turn to Forsberg as their No.1 option starting tonight. He has posted a 3.67 GAA and .904 SV% in seven appearances this season but is coming off of one of his better games, so he will look to build off of that in Dallas.

Brown had just one assist in four games with the Senators and heads back to Windsor, where he had 14 goals and 26 assists (40 points) in 35 games last season. This will be much better for Brown’s development and the move suggests that Colin White (wrist) could be back in the lineup soon.

Forsberg allowed four goals on 43 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss in Toronto on October 9th. With Corey Crawford starting last night, Forsberg will make his second start of the season tonight vs. the Oilers. Edmonton is off to a terrible start to the season, but they still have Connor McDavid—making Forsberg a risky spot-start option.

Brown was a healthy scratch for the last five games after appearing in the season opener back on October 5th. After going with seven defenseman on Tuesday, Brown will draw back in for Mark Borowiecki as the Senators return to the traditional look of 12 forwards and six defensemen.

Armia played in each of the Jets’ first two games, but will be replaced tonight in Edmonton. Armia has posted a minus-4 rating and has failed to record a shot on goal so far this season.
